Move-in Checklist

First Month's Rent & Security Deposit

Your first month's rent and security deposit are both due at the lease signing. Please confirm the amounts with our team in advance to ensure everything goes smoothly.

Move-in Date & Inspection

We will provide all necessary information about the move-in and initial inspection at the lease signing.

Utilities

You will need to contact all utility companies immediately after the lease signing. Put all accounts in your name; you'll need to keep accounts current throughout the duration of your stay.

Move-out Checklist

Notice of Intent to Vacate

Planning to move out of your rental home? Please provide us with written notice of your intent to vacate the premises, in accordance with the terms outlined in your lease.

Property Condition

You'll need to bring your property back to rent-ready condition before moving out of the home. To do this, please follow the instructions outlined below:

Rental Cleaning: Begin with decluttering, discarding unnecessary items to ease the cleaning process. Dust and wipe surfaces, including shelves, countertops, and appliances. Thoroughly clean kitchen appliances, ensuring no food residue remains. Scrub bathrooms meticulously, paying attention to tiles, grout, and fixtures. Vacuum and mop floors, addressing any stains or spills. Don't forget to clean windows and mirrors for a polished look. Empty and clean cabinets and closets, and address any marks on walls.

Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: If your rental has outdoor space where you typically address ongoing upkeep, please take care of these chores once more before moving out.

Repairs: Please perform a final once-over of your rental as you move out. Identify any damage that has occurred during your stay and take the necessary steps to address it. This involves patching nail and screw holes, replacing any broken glass, and repainting any stained walls.

Security Deposit

We will return your security deposit to you as quickly as possible. Please note, any fees, back rent, and repair costs will be deducted from the security deposit.
